On Friday, we took part in World Book Day.
This year each class had a poem that they learnt and performed to the rest of the school in a special assembly on Friday afternoon. The children dressed up in costumes related to their poem.
Everyone did an amazing performance!
On Monday, it was Science/ Scientist day at school. We had an amazing workshop full of different experiments and investigations for each class to take part in throughout the day.
Each class also had key scientists (one modern and one historical) to learn about.
On Wednesday, Year 5 took part in a Saxon workshop as part of their history topic this term. They took part in research and drama activities which really helped make the history come alive!
On Friday, Year 4 visited Lullingstone Villa to learn more about life in Roman Britain. It's been so nice to hear the children sharing facts that they have learnt throughout their topic with other adults and children around the school.
