84% growth sounds impressive until you look at what's actually inside the number.

95% of that $10.37 billion is portfolio investment. Short-term money chasing interest rates in banks and money market instruments. It can leave as fast as it came.

Actual FDI? $135 million. That's 1.3% of the total. And it dropped quarter on quarter.

No factory was built with that inflow. No farm was expanded. No refinery came online. Banking and financing sectors absorbed over 96% of it. The productive economy barely registered.

A country becomes a leading investment destination when people are building things inside it, not when speculators are parking dollars in treasury bills to chase yield.

The macro number is real. The interpretation is the problem.
