Interesting stuff in DotCom Zambia’s first ever annual report is out. And the numbers are quite impressive, I think.
Revenue hit K666 million. Profit nearly doubled year on year. Cash in the bank jumped from K2.7 million to K17.9 million. Zero debt.
The report shows that before the company even listed, they paid out K5.42 million in dividends to shareholders, nearly 5 times what was paid the year before.
But what really gets me is the longer story. This company has grown its revenue every single year for 8 consecutive years. From K39 million in 2018 to K666 million in 2025. Not one year of decline.
That kind of consistency is rare anywhere, let alone in a homegrown Zambian tech company. Their report also highlighted some new products are already in development.
Idk, it just feels quite nice that a Zambian company is doing this.
