Two Cult Groups, Two Arrests, One Network Under Pressure
The ongoing campaign against cultism in Kwara State has resulted in another significant breakthrough, targeting two prominent gangs operating in Ilorin metropolis.
Based on credible intelligence and ongoing surveillance, operatives arrested Abdullahi Jimoh Omotoho, 33, a suspected member of the Klans-Avea cult group. A locally fabricated Beretta pistol was recovered from him.
Furtherinvestigation led to the arrest of Abdullahi Kareem Kawu, also known as "B-Red," of the Eiye Confraternity.
These arrests from two separate cult groups send a clear message: no cult group operates without scrutiny in Kwara State.
Both suspects remain in custody and are assisting investigators in efforts to dismantle the broader criminal networks responsible for cult-related violence in the State.
IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc (+), NPM, personally commended the Kwara State Command for an operation that disrupted two criminal networks in a single effort. This demonstrates the effectiveness of sustained intelligence and vigilance.
Kwara state Police command maintains a clear stance: criminal elements have no safe haven in Kwara State. He warns all cult members still operating covertly to desist immediately or face the full weight of the law.
To the residents of Ilorin: your Command is making progress, dismantling one cult network at a time.

"I would prefer to maintain operational silence rather than disseminate false information. Our nation is currently saturated with keyboard warriors who lack any comprehension of the sacrifices, tactical deployments, and strategic operations undertaken by the gallant officers of the Nigeria Police Force @PoliceNG .
