Today, I am pleased to announce that my bill for the establishment of a Federal Medical Center with headquarters in Igabi Local Government Area and an annex in Chikun Local Government Area has passed its first reading on the floor of the Senate.
This marks an important step toward realizing our collective vision of improved healthcare access for the good people of Kaduna State, particularly those in Igabi, Chikun, and the surrounding communities.

Once this bill successfully passes through all legislative stages, I am confident that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will give his assent, ensuring that this vital project becomes a reality.
The establishment of these medical facilities will go a long way in ameliorating the healthcare challenges faced by our people, providing quality medical services, creating jobs, and promoting healthier communities.
I remain deeply committed to the welfare and development of my constituents, and I will continue to work tirelessly to bring more impactful projects and federal presence to our dear state.
