Africa’s telecom future may not be about building a tower everywhere. Airtel + Starlink Direct to Cell points to a new model: terrestrial networks + satellites + mobile money working as one ecosystem. For remote communities, tourism and conservation, this could be a major shift.

Anyone can point a camera at wildlife but a real story lives in the quiet spaces between the ranger who walked for hours so the frame could exist, the community that chose protection over short term gain.That’s the Africa I photograph. Conservation isn’t just the subject.
