Sometimes we think we’ve healed from a bad situation when in reality, we’ve just ignored it and pushed it deep inside the subconscious. The real test is when that situation presents it’s face again. Will you run from it? Or accept it’s ok to not be fully healed?
@kullar1001 This shouldn’t be an unpopular opinion! There was no character develop, no proper transitions. Huge disappointment. Some things should just remain the way they are
By all means be confident. Be cut throat. Be the type of person who won’t take shit from people because you’ve been through enough. But don’t be arrogant and blame it on what you’ve been through. Arrogance is NOT a sign of growth. Let that be known.
I think the biggest sign of loving yourself isn’t the show you put on about loving yourself.. but the actions you take to get rid of toxic people whose morals, viewpoints, and energy don’t match yours. It’s the actions you take for yourself every day.
The sole reason why I’m happy and not stressed regarding people is because i pick and choose my circle meticulously. The number one qualifier is judging their intentions for me. Does this person want me to succeed? Or fall on my face. I start from there
That being said, that doesn’t mean I go crazy on someone or curse them out. I just firmly state my viewpoint instead of beating around the bush and pretending everything is butterflies and tulips 🌷
The whole forcing acquaintances and diplomacy thing is played out (unless it’s at work). I believe if your energy doesn’t match an individual, and you’re confident enough to realize that, it’s cool to let them know and move on. It’s mature.
