Universal Credit is not working! People cannot wait 5 weeks for a payment to cover ~20% of take home pay. @RishiSunak you need to allow our new employers who want to furlough is the chance to do so & actually retain jobs!

Left my job at British Airways to start with Qantas on the 9th of March.
No gaps in between employments.

Now explain me why I can't be furloughed?!

Had to hang up my "wings" because of covid19, now you are taking away my dignity and the right to survive!

@MartinSLewis please help! I started a new job on the 9th March, I have been placed on to furlough leave but to get the 80%, the Gov guidelines state that I had to be on payroll by the 29th Feb, where do I stand?? Please advise! I’m stuck for help
