Kudos to my wife Krista for having the foresight to put @apple AirTags in all our suitcases so we can track them. Otherwise we wouldn’t have known that @WestJet messed up in time to hustle for a timely solution that @westjet couldn’t (or wouldn’t) have come up with on their own.

She convinced @westjet to put the suitcase on their morning flight from Ottawa to Calgary where it would be transferred to our flight to Tokyo before we left. So much work for a simple solution that was beyond the comprehension of @westjet employees in Calgary. Easy, right?!

The @westjet reps came across as indifferent, saying the bags will catch up with us later this week in Japan. Clearly, they either have zero concept of the complexities of this or they really could care less. After many attempts and dropped calls with @westjet Krista succeeded.

So, at the @westjet baggage desk in Calgary, the two CSRs were quite dismissive of our concerns and wouldn’t call Ottawa to try and get the single suitcase (3 others made it) forwarded to catch up with us in Calgary. We had 24 hours, and there were several flights to Calgary.

We’ve started our trip to Japan and @WestJet has already left one of our bags behind in Ottawa. No help whatsoever from the people at baggage in Calgary where we are laid over for a day. It could easily be sent on another flight to Calgary tonight, but @WestJet won’t help.

@ianmiles @ianmiles, I must respectfully disagree with your opinion on Raygun’s performance in the Olympics. Some of the greatest and most memorable Olympic moments feature athletes who took a risk… Jamaican bobsled team, Eddie the Eagle, etc. Lighten up, Ian🤗.

Does anyone know why @TSN_Sports is not showing the CEBL playoff game between Ottawa and Niagara. American college rugby on, but I thought they’d be converting the Canadian Elite Basketball League… especially since they advertise on the cable guide that the game is on TSN5.

I have asked John in Customer Service (who was very nice, btw) with @MBonvoyAssist to have my @Marriott Bonvoy Points restored, but apparently they were deleted on February 23, 2023, and “there’s nothing they can do” to help me. When those points are gone, THEY’RE GONE. Lol!

Disappointed to learn that none of my recent stays @Marriott Harbour Lake count as activity, AND I’ve lost ALL my Marriott points, without warning, due to inactivity. What’s up with that @MBonvoyAssist @MarriottOwners ? So @MarriottResorts stays don’t count for anything???
