On Monday, our co-founder Max Kelly had the pleasure of speaking at the @FutureFwdHQ conference in Warwick.
Now in its third year, Future Fwd brings together hundreds of delegates from across industry and the education sector to promote innovation and partnership.
• (1/3)
During his presentation, Max discussed the importance of cultivating an ecosystem for achievement and aspirations in our schools, and outlined our ambitious plans at Connexus to connect pupils, teachers and school leaders to talent and expertise across other sectors.

We would like to extend our thanks to our special advisor and host Richard Nicholson (@Principal_WISF), alongside his team at the Warwick Schools Foundation and all the other speakers, sponsors, partners and delegates.

🌟 Day 2 of Future Fwd has now come to a close.
We have listened to some truly insightful talks from speakers; observed thought-provoking discussions; and have been enthused by watching delegates come together, united by their desire to improve the provision of education.
Delighted to have Dr Joanne Ladds from @Noble_and_Eaton, delivering a really exciting and interactive workshop on how learning spaces can be designed to improve cognition, wellbeing and performance.
What an inspiring and thought provoking few days! So fortunate to be involved, what a great #ignite24 panel opportunity for the young people... thanks must go to @markashfield, @FutureFwd, Richard Nicholson, Chris Haywood and of course the excellent #FutureFwd team.
🗣️ Delegates and students are continuing the positive conversations from yesterday during thought-provoking roundtable discussions.
It is great to hear delegates collaborate, but also challenge each other in order to determine which steps can be taken next to make a true impact.
🧰 Including the Big 8 toolkit - the first part of which is ‘connecting’; releasing information about yourself in order build a knowing and understanding as a human being, building trust, and establishing a relationship with other people to get them on board with your mission.
#FutureFwd 2024 has been a whirlwind of inspiration: insightful talks, thought-provoking discussions, and the unifying passion of delegates working to better education. If you missed it, here's a glimpse of what was on offer – full video coming soon!
In his closing remarks, Richard reflects on the feedback provided by the roundtable discussions leads, and reminds all delegates that following the positive discussions from the last two days, we must ACT on these discussions if we are to make the impact that we all want to see.
🌟 @JamesUffindell and Stephanie Kerr running an interactive session with students, talking about the importance of soft-skills; the ability to build connections and relationships; and the ‘90/30 rule’ - the idea that the first 30 seconds makes up 90% of first impressions.
@WarwickSingTown running a fantastic workshop on the numerous benefits of singing, including social, intellectual, and benefits for health.
More generally, they want everyone to know that each and every individual has a gift; their voice.
Let’s get children singing again. We @SingPlaygrounds@singingmed spent the day with Graham Welch at the @FutureFwdHQ conference remembering the @SingUpTweets days, being reminded of his research showing why singing is SO good for children, primary schools, and just everyone…
David Harkin, CEO at @8billionideas helping us close day one with a fantastic talk on his hopes for the future of education, and how his company specialise in equipping students with the skills and belief required to change the world. #FutureFwd
