केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय के अनुसार, सोमवार को भारत में ह्यूमन मेटान्यूमोवायरस (#HMVP) के तीन मामलों की पुष्टि हुई, जो देश में इस वायरस का पहला मामला है।

♦️ बेंगलुरु में तीन महीने का बच्चा, जिसे अस्पताल से छुट्टी दे दी गई है, और आठ महीने का बच्चा, जो अस्पताल में भर्ती है, ये दो मामले हैं। अहमदाबाद में दो महीने का बच्चा भी संक्रमित पाया गया।
▪️पहला केस कर्नाटक में 8 महीने का बच्चा
▪️दूसरा केस कर्नाटक में 3 महीने की बच्ची
▪️तीसरा केस गुजरात में 2 महीने का बच्चा

♦️ केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय ने कहा कि वह सभी उपलब्ध निगरानी चैनलों के माध्यम से स्थिति की निगरानी कर रहा है। उसने कहा कि भारतीय चिकित्सा अनुसंधान परिषद (IMCR) पूरे साल HMVP परिसंचरण के रुझानों पर नज़र रखना जारी रखेगी।

♦️ कर्नाटक, महाराष्ट्र और दिल्ली की सरकारों ने HMVP से संबंधित संभावित स्वास्थ्य चुनौतियों के लिए तैयारी सुनिश्चित करने के लिए कोविड-19 के दौरान अपनाए गए दिशा-निर्देशों के समान दिशा-निर्देश जारी किए हैं।
