Good Friday, observed on the Friday before Easter Sunday, is a solemn Christian holiday commemorating the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ at Calvary. It marks a central tenet of faith, representing Jesus' sacrificial love to atone for humanity's sins.

In a world that is decidedly secular, Templars choose to be purposely Christian. We live an intentional life centered on glorifying God, submitting to Christ, and fulfilling His divine will.

As Knights Templar we are to encourage all that makes for the spiritual and moral strengthening of mankind in accordance with the first great principle of the Order as embodied in its motto: Non nobis, Domine, non nobis, sed nomini tuo da gloriam.

Today, Priory of the Holy Isle attended the Sedalia Center's Celtic Festival & Highland Games. Although quite windy at times, it was a great event overall affording us the opportunity to give information pertaining to The Order.
