About our mindfulness question... I think many don't have a true understanding of what it is. I've done yoga, meditation and my grad school Research paper on mindfulness. In mho, we need to give our Ts more experience with it. I'm now the queen of deep breathing #2PencilChat

@scantrellmath @MagicPantsJones I like your answer as a form of mindfulness for us the Ts. It's very easy to forget things, especially with a huge revolving door of Ss like I have. For ex: 1 S lost his mother. Another his Grandmother & sister. Not to mention when my Ss have court coming up.

@MagicPantsJones I want my Ss to be helpful to each other. That's a huge form of kindness where I work. My cancer story helps us connect in so many different ways; and grow.

A2. I'm not a great speller. I used to hate writing on the board b/c I was afraid of making a mistake. Then, I decided to embrace it. I showed my Ss it's ok to not always get everything right. I now ask them for help. It empowers them. I also share my cancer story #2PencilChat

@MagicPantsJones I agree. There needs to be times where there is discussion or something more deliberate done. Some children don't pick up on certain nuances.
