There were no survivors in the 1996 Charkhi Dadri collision. All 349 people aboard the two aircraft were killed, and many bodies were badly charred or mutilated. So whom exactly did his Swayamsevaks "treat"?

One aircraft belonged to Saudi Arabia, while the other belonged to Kazakhstan, which is not an Arab nation.

Bhagwat has invented survivors, distorted facts and inserted the RSS into a tragedy, all to manufacture a certificate of communal harmony for his organisation.

I first heard this line in 2011. From the mouth of a professor, no less. As proof, he showed me a WhatsApp message...
one packed with claims about how many riots happened under Congress rule, how Congress had engineered them, how Hindus were killed alongside Muslims in the process, and so on. And he claimed the whole thing had been written by none other than Salim Khan himself. Around the same time I also heard that Sonia Gandhi had once been a bar dancer. Those were strange times an era when anything that landed on WhatsApp was taken as gospel truth.

From that point right up to the Bharat Jodo Yatra, the name Rahul Gandhi had become synonymous with Pappu. The foundation for that was a 2005 Cadbury ad - Aur Pappu Pass Ho Gaya, directed by Pradeep Sarkar. But it was two men who truly weaponized it: Piyush Pandey and Ajay Singh, who together engineered the Ab ki baar Modi Sarkar... Janata maaf nahi karegi campaign and, alongside it, designed the "Rahul is Pappu" narrative.

For eight years, whatever Rahul said became meme fodder. He was mocked mercilessly. A well-educated, well-read man was made to endure humiliation again and again. And yet he never left the field.

He kept talking. First, he changed his own approach. His outlook shifted. His clothes changed. His language changed the words he used changed. The way he engaged with people changed. He made a habit of speaking to people in their own language. And most importantly, he made sure no aura of Lutiens sahib-ness, of elite distance, formed around him. He built a culture where people could address him and Priyanka directly, by first name. And look at the result.

Today, Rahul Gandhi is the most-heard politician in the country. He worked hard to force this nation to listen to his voice. It didn't fall into his lap easily.

That's why, when Rahul recently spoke the language of "Burn the Manusmriti" and "smash the patriarchy," people took it seriously. And it was accepted.

In the end, that's how it works in politics, you can't force yourself onto people. People have to choose to accept you on their own.

This is something the Brahmo-socialists will never understand.
The Left understood it, which is why they've opened up space for young people.
As for the question of my own caste-community we haven't even figured out what our priorities should be yet. We're still stuck in the romanticism of the struggles we waged back in the '70s. My earnest hope is that at least in this decade, a young leadership emerges with the resolve to put in fresh effort with a fresh approach.

Because the gap is ours to own. we're the ones who failed to fill it in time. And Rahul Gandhi has filled that very gap. That failure belongs to all of us, myself included. And because of that failure, I simply cannot bring myself to the cheapness of hurling abuses at Rahul.

Each of those things were all handed over to them at discounted rates. ​Just a few months ago, BSNL forgot to bill almost 2,000 crores to Ambani's Jio. Now, how can any sane entrepreneur compete with that level of corruption?

In 2018, airport policy clearly said no company could own more than two airports. Overnight, Modi's cabinet changed the rules. As a result, Adani got six airports in one shot. Environment Ministry changed rules overnight to let Adani ji start coal mining in Hasdeo forest. 1.7 lakh trees were cut for his profits. Can any entrepreneur compete with that level of influence?

It was such a peaceful movement, feel so sad that it had to take a violent turn. My heart goes out to the students and their families who were hurt. Paper leak is a very serious issue, and I am glad to know n see that the kids of our country have come together for a better educational system, and their parents supported them.

I truly appreciate the stand they have taken, showing dedication, sincerity, and keenness to study hard n make their future and a greater, educated India. This andolan, this protest, is the right way to go abt it, n the students have done this peacefully. So courageous and brave. Driven and motivated towards education, this generation will make India proud.

This issue is between the students and the educational system, it should not be hijacked politically, the credit should only go to the students of our country, and I am sure the government will also give them all the support n make it a stronger educational system. It’s a win-win situation. Hoping n praying for a positive decision. God bless all of you who wanna be educated.

Education should be the next trend and fashion, and should get trendier n more fashionable yr by yr, itna k bahar se log come to India to study and India becomes an educational hub.
