- a brilliant unique value prop that irresistible
YET
- reasonable enough to substantiate and deliver upon
Don’t make wild “1,000,000 euros in 7 days” claims if you cannot reasonably deliver them.
Ruins your reputation & makes your job harder
You don't need an agency in 2023 to accelerate the growth of your B2B startup / venture...
If you have a solid product market fit, you can build a solid outbound system in-house.
Here are three reasons why an agency may not be a feasible option:

After running dozens of outbound campaigns, this is my thesis on the success of an outreach campaign:
(You need a combination of all 3 foundations. You cannot have one without the other. The claim is supported by the evidence it brings, and can only be found relevant by the perfected target demographic).
1. The Claim / Offer
Before you get to this point, you need create a reasonable hypothesis as to what your market desires.
Create Hypothesis > Build Claim / Offer
(Ideally you’ve already done the research to create a claim, rather than assuming what your market wants).
This claim needs to be bold enough to pique interest, yet reasonable enough to deliver.
2. Evidence
If your claim is bold enough, your prospects will raise their eyebrows and become skeptical.
You counter this through evidence
Evidence being:
- A well crafted sales letter
- a well crafter VSL
- Case studies
- testimonials
- Educational content
Any piece of content that demonstrates that you ACTUALLY KNOW what you’re doing at a minimally viable competent fashion.
3. Targeting
You can have the best offer known to man with the best case studies ever seen…
But it’s completely useless if the wrong people are viewing it.
It’s utterly pointless to try and sell Brokerages on capital efficient acquisitions strategies, when the bulk of your case studies are in the B2B SaaS space.
Targeting is 80% of the success of an outbound campaign. You need to understand EXACTLY what they want, down to the EXACT syntax they want it.
Sell people what they need in the fashion that they want it…
