@GillsInTheBlood I’m going to start a rumour of my own. Barnsley are rumoured to be on the verge of signing Conor O’Riordon from Blackburn Rovers. This may push Gale onto the bench, or hopefully out on loan to a League 2 team in Kent.
@Se_Railway if you left your power pack on a Southeastern train this evening, I’ll drop it in to Bromley South station in the morning. You may have to give train details and the stop you got off at to confirm it’s yours. Assuming no one got there first and guessed correctly.
@TVFTM Agree with you regarding Albarus. Keeper situation is a joke and we need to do with Wright what we did with AMB the first time we loaned him - send him back and buy a proper keeper. We can’t keep calling up clubs on a Friday afternoon to see who can spare us a keeper for a game.
@TheGillsFC@swfc This whole keeper situation is getting really embarrassing now. Go out and buy a proper keeper, send Wright back to Southampton, trust Holtam as back up.
@GillsInTheBlood@pearcyyy But what did England do at 4-3 that was different to what we did at 1-0 against Argentina? Both came at similar stages of the game. One we went 100% defensive and invited the onslaught, the other we kept an attacking option and stopped the onslaught.
@TheGillsFC Let me guess, you’ve sold out of those cheap metal bottles you were selling for £15, now need to sell some crappy plastic bottles instead. Am I close?
@GillsInTheBlood@Ashby1Barry Maybe it was hindsight for you because you saw things differently before the Argie goals. But it’s not hindsight for those of use who could see what was going to happen. My entire WhatsApp group called it before they had even scored.
@tonywoodrow12@BenWattsSport It’s coincidental that Barry’s son is making his competitive debut at one of Barry’s clubs. But nothing about this is ironic.
@vicgoddard Each year the wife’s school has a big presentation in the hall for everyone leaving. Then individual depts do something they enjoy. Hers went out for a meal for their 2 leavers. I think English went back to their staff room and whinged about how under appreciated they are.
@mike_gammon When my dad called me to tell me my mum had died suddenly (some 26 yrs ago), my main concern was calling a colleague to tell him I wouldn’t be at work the next day. Insisted his mum woke him up so I could tell him.
@mike_gammon You don’t think that having someone shoot at the president from 100+ yards away, surrounded by people, just to give him the edge in a race in which he’s already very much ahead, is even weirder? An inch to the right and he’d be dead. I’ll add that shock does weird things. 1/
@cambridge_peter @robinbowes@psud12@Dr__Sarmy Wembley has a capacity of 90k, so that’s 1.3 times. Wait. Is that all? In 6 years, the number of people who have come across the channel in dinghies could fit into Wembley if you included the pitch? Holy crap, thought it was much more than that.
@Tesco are we having more IT issues this morning? Can you see what’s wrong with this picture? Now I’ll add that the shopping has already been delivered, half an hour ago! It’s currently 7:47am
