Battlefield 6 will never be consistently enjoyable while hit registration, TTD, and lag compensation feel this bad. New maps and content don’t matter if the core gunplay is broken.

@BattlefieldComm The current netcode is awful. Hit registration feels inconsistent, desync is noticeable, and the recoil/spread feels far too random.
This is not ready for ranked or competitive play. Please fix the core gunplay first.

#Battlefield6 Season 2 will feature a new map on February 17th called 'Contaminated'.

In terms of size, Contaminated is a medium-sized map comparable to classic Battlefield maps such as St. Quentin Scar (Battlefield 1) or Arras (Battlefield V).

Alongside Season 2 map, upcoming Battlefield Labs sessions will also include early testing of the AH-6 Little Bird (Battlefield 3) ahead of its planned arrival in Season 2.
