I would take on her odd challenge but doubt UPSC will permit me due to my advanced age 😄
Since @sudhakarudumula you are her spokesperson pls do ask her only one Question -
To what use has she put her privilege of Disability Quota ?
To run coaching institutes or to serve the people through field-work ??

Indian CEOs bashing Work Life Balance:
1. Current Situation
- India is a heaven of cheap labour.
- Securing a job is tough.
- Working over 40 hours a week is already the norm.
- Job stability is lacking, you can get fired anytime.
- Lengthy commutes adds to the long working hours.
- A normal working person can’t find personal time after work.
2. Corporate CEOs' Views
- CEOs like Narayana Murthy and Bhavish Aggarwal advocate for 70-hour workweeks to boost productivity.
- They believe it will contribute to national progress.
- These recommendations often aim to increase company profits.
3. Scientific Findings from @hyderabaddoctor
- Working 55 or more hours a week increases the risk of stroke by 35% and heart disease by 17% compared to working 35-40 hours.
- Over 800,000 people die each year due to excessive working hours.
- Long hours are linked to a higher risk of being overweight, pre-diabetes, and type 2 diabetes.
- Working 69 or more hours a week increases the likelihood of severe depressive symptoms compared to working 40 hours.
4. My Opinion
- Executives who advocate for 50-70 hour workweeks keep most of the financial gains. For example, the Infosys CEO earns ₹662.4 million, while a fresh software engineer earns only 4-8 Lacs annually.
- Indian CEOs parrot Western ideas about work-life balance, but it doesn’t even exist in India.
- There is apathy towards the working middle class from the elites of India.
- India’s large population reduces the perceived value of individual lives, leading to less emphasis on employee well-being.
- Long working hours can be harmful to health and do not always lead to better financial outcomes. Companies need to focus on reasonable working hours and employee well-being to promote a healthier and more productive work environment.
- Employees should seek out organisations that prioritise work-life balance and fair treatment to ensure better job satisfaction and overall health.

Is Walking after Meals Healthy?
Walking is a healthy habit and people prefer to walk in the mornings or evenings, before breakfast or dinner, respectively. There are contradictory opinions regarding potential health-related benefits of walking after meals.
Here, I present some scientific data that could help you decide whether to walk after meals.
Better glycemic control
➡️Walking is associated with a mean reduction in HbA1C of 0.5% in people with type 2 diabetes.
➡️Walking after meals also lowers the postprandial blood glucose levels. There is a dose response noted- faster walking speed results in greater reduction in post-prandial blood glucose levels.
➡️30 minutes of walking started 15 minutes after meals reduces blood glucose peak post meals in healthy individuals too.
Weight reduction
Walking is associated with a significant reduction in BMI by 0.91 kg/m2.
Reduction in systolic and diastolic Blood pressure
➡️Walking is associated with a significant reduction in systolic and diastolic BP.
➡️The magnitude of BP reduction is higher among people with higher baseline BP. In a 6-month follow-up study, systolic BP decreased significantly in each of the five subgroups, with lowering of −21.3 mmHg in the group of subjects with baseline values >160, −11.8 in the group 150–159, −7.5 in the group 140–149, −5.3 in the group 130–139 and −2.6 in the group 120–129 mmHg.
➡️Benefits of walking on BP lowering are seen whether the walking is done in 1 long session (of 30-60 minutes) or split into 3 shorter sessions (of 10 minutes each). 10 minutes of walk can be conveniently incorporated after meals.
Improvement in digestion
Walking after meals stimulates the stomach and intestines, making the food move through the digestive system more rapidly. This could reduce the sense of bloating.
Improvement in mood and sleep quality
A short walk after dinner could potentially elevate mood as well as improve sleep quality.
Take home message
Walking after meals is safe and short walks after meals are associated with multiple health-related benefits.
(Disclaimer: Walking is one of many lifestyle interventions impacting health. Healthy diet, good quality sleep, and strength training are some of the other important lifestyle factors that greatly influence health).

Some people are so proud to claim IIT, IIMs are top ranked only because of this faculty? Do you even realize that flouting reservation laws is illegal? What is there to be proud in running a government funded institution when you can't even follow the law of the land?
The gruesome killing of Mr. K. Armstrong, Tamil Nadu state Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) president, outside his Chennai house is highly deplorable and condemnable. An advocate by profession, he was known as a strong Dalit voice in the state. The state Govt. must punish the guilty.
