@JustinWelby I’m spending time with my 90 yr old father who is waiting to die with terminal cancer in absolute agony. He is loved and cared for with excellent support in place but it is inhumane for him and my mum not being able to shorten his death and let him be at peace.

#MentalHealthAwarenessWeek For many the isolation over the last year has been challenging. For me, working from home has let me use my ‘commute’ time for early morning and evening walks #Mindfulness
One of the benefits (for me) of wfh is using the commute time to go for a walk - to focus - then at the end of the day to reflect, using nature to help balance my body and mind. Now to work!
In these challenging and uncertain times for families, businesses and the contribution required of key workers its good to connect with nature and the balance it gives us to know - things will get better #mindfulness#hope
The response to a text to say ‘hi’ shows the marks on your face and stress in your eyes (that normally 🌟) only 2 hrs into another 12 hr shift on Intensive Care. You’re just doing your job - & we need to ours #StayHomeSaveLives#proud of you Sophie & all #NHSheroes#keepsafe
