🚨 URGENT: Advocate Ramen Roy in Critical Condition After Brutal Attack 🚨

Advocate Ramen Roy, a respected High Court practitioner, was brutally attacked with machetes during a peaceful protest at Shahbagh, Dhaka, against the arbitrary arrest of Chinmoy Prabhu. Allegedly, this attack was carried out by cadres of the Bangladesh National Party (BNP) and affiliates of right-wing Islamic parties. Advocate Roy sustained severe injuries, including the loss of part of his skull, and remains in the ICU fighting for his life.

Medical Board Update on Advocate Ramen Roy:

The patient is not responding to treatment.
Brain activity is recorded at 4 out of 10.
Immediate changes to medication and other lines of treatment have been advised.
The medical board will monitor Advocate Roy intensively over the next 24 hours.
We urge everyone to keep Ramen in your holy prayers. Your support and love for Ramen during this difficult time are deeply appreciated.

The Broader Crisis:
This is not an isolated incident. Prof. Kushal Baran Chakrabarty has fortunately recovered, but other peaceful protestors remain in critical condition across Bangladesh. Minority communities, particularly in Chittagong, are under severe oppression:
Advocates defending Chinmoy Prabhu have had their chambers destroyed.

Joint forces, along with Islamic right-wing party cadres, threaten anyone representing Chinmoy Prabhu.
Chittagong is engulfed in chaos, with state elements and right-wing groups enforcing a brutal crackdown.
The international community must intervene urgently to protect Bangladesh's minorities, bring justice to the victims, and hold perpetrators accountable.
