What makes my blood boil about rent control and rent stabilization is how many people gleefully support even in spite of how profoundly evil it is on its face. It's such a blatant violation of the landlord's fundamental rights. The sheer greed of the tenants is staggering.

@sgodofsk I was a bit uncomfortable with the word greed at first because I think of greed as a good thing... Though I think that's just because it's typically applied as a pejorative against good things like being rich... Shifting my view to "out of context desire for wealth". Thanks 👍

@shlevy I think it has to be his own beliefs. He should run and be elected on his own beliefs. The people should elect who they feel best represents them.

I think one of the draws to representative government is that the representatives can specialize in policy.
