I miss Jefferson Pilot Sports, mostly during hoops season. When your school was on JP on Wednesday night it was a huge deal. https://t.co/Q0JF1SSadt

@JournoRyan Ryan, any chance you could do some digging on the status of the McFarland Mall site? Curious to know why it’s stalled out in terms of concrete removal.

[Alex Powell @ProducerAP]

@AdamdotH I figured it had to do with the push with the way the ump mimicked what the catcher did. Announcers on LSU broadcast haven’t mentioned it

[Alex Powell @ProducerAP]

Outstanding news!

[Jeff Passan @JeffPassan]

Second baseman Andrés Giménez and the Cleveland Guardians are finalizing a long-term contract extension, sources familiar with the deal tell ESPN. Giménez, 24, was a first-time All-Star and Gold Glove winner last year and put up 7.4 Wins Above Replacement -- a star-level season.

Going to miss this squad, always sad for hoops season to end. Different vibe than football.

@JoeGoodmanJr Not clicking the “story” but the ratios on every tweet are hilarious. Someone’s going to get block crazy soon.

[Alex Powell @ProducerAP]

@AdamdotH Wait wait wait…pretzel sticks with Voodoo seasoning??!! I need to find that here in Mississippi ASAP.

[Alex Powell @ProducerAP]

This was amazing. Tide Hoops season finally!

[Auburn Baseball @AuburnBaseball]

I think @GNCLiveWell needs to sell sample sizes of preworkout powders. I’m about to try my 4th different one since February and we could avoid buyer’s remorse here with samples at the register. This new one has to go but with 3/4 of the container left I feel guilty.

[Alex Powell @ProducerAP]

@TheJim_34 Pink, GMac, Williamson, Jarvis, Hamiter, Eblin were all better in our 33 SEC games but okay.

[Alex Powell @ProducerAP]

@alagrandslammer @Gmcmillan09 What are the chances he hits and pitches next season for UA?

[Alex Powell @ProducerAP]

@JonChumbler I don’t see any coaching changes in the SECW the next 3 years unless DVH or Bianco retires. You’re putting a program in purgatory for 4-5 years if you make a move that isn’t Schloss level, which very very few are.

[Alex Powell @ProducerAP]

@Charlie_Potter Writing on the wall there, wasn’t a starter as the season wore on.

[Alex Powell @ProducerAP]

@cadesmith_3 Idk man, butterfly effect and all. Seems we came to Hoover with a ton of urgency and aggressiveness knowing we had to get to Saturday for a bid. It paid off and we got 2 wins.

[Alex Powell @ProducerAP]

@ctsykes13 In all seriousness we do need to revamp our hitting approach this off-season. Sides becoming an elite hitter at Arkansas says it all as we struggle for weeks on end to get hits.

[Alex Powell @ProducerAP]

@RiggsStephenson @HunterLetson I get it, just seems like there’s a lot of animosity regarding baseball on the Gump Twitter these days. For example, this Hunter guy blocked me for whatever reason lol.

[Alex Powell @ProducerAP]

@RiggsStephenson @HunterLetson Do we have to go to games to be considered someone that can voice an opinion without hostility? Some of us alums live in other states and can’t make games. That’s not a prerequisite for getting to be considered a true fan.

[Alex Powell @ProducerAP]

@HunterLetson @RiggsStephenson I don’t want the coach fired after this season but the hostility some of y’all have toward the fan base is pretty off putting.

[Alex Powell @ProducerAP]

@BurnerLJohnson Coming into the season it felt like we were trending upward at a decent clip. I think this season we’ve regressed slightly as a program. Now we’re back to hoping we can sneak into a regional as a 3 seed next season. GMac’s decision this summer is huge.
