Products That Count, the world’s largest nonprofit community of product managers with over 600,000 members, today announced the winners of the 2026 CPO Awards. https://t.co/EzOzv8UFjD
In the latest episode of the Product Talk podcast, Pawan Gaagi, CPO of @MonumentalGames shares a practical framework for CPOs to adopt AI at a personal level and across their teams: https://t.co/vFKmBGiQNF
CPOs are becoming ICs again: Pawan Gaargi, CPO of @Monumental, personally turned into a front-end developer because you can't credibly lead an AI-native team from the sidelines. The CPO who asks, "can't AI do this in 2 days?" without touching the tools will misjudge in both directions: over-promising where it fails, missing real leverage where it wins. Hands-on fluency is now table stakes at the top of the org.

Keyway has been recognized by @ProductsCount as one of Q1 2026 Product winners in AI & Data.
In real estate, where fragmented systems and manual workflows have long been the norm, we bring everything into a unified operational layer—where insights drive execution.
Thank you to @ProductsCount, and to our clients and partners for your continued trust.
When hiring product builders, how do you assess someone's AI-native skills?
Everyone has AI on their resume and LinkedIn profile, but what are the questions that reveal the real level of AI fluency?
I sat down with Akriti Dokania (investor, PM, and engineer) to discuss this, and she broke it down into 3 levels:
-> What have you automated?
Not "do you use AI", but what have you actually built and shipped? Akriti has built an agent in a week for the last 6 weeks.
2 -> What has stuck and why?
Anyone can throw things at the wall. The real question is: which workflows actually worked, which tools did you use, and how deep can you go explaining why?
3 -> What's NOT working?
This is the real tell. AI-native people can articulate exactly where they got stuck, what's still broken, and how they hacked around it.
Surface-level AI use = writing emails with ChatGPT.
Truly AI-native = you've built, reflected, and pushed through the hard parts.
Thank you, Akriti Dokania, venture partner @ridgevc, for sharing your insights with @ProductsCount's community. Loved the conversation.

Every few months, I run an experiment: I give an AI model a full rundown of what I do and ask if it can replace me.
The answer is always the same. And it always comes back to one thing: skin in the game.
I sat down with @KRCowing to dig into exactly that: what AI is still missing to play that role, and what it means for how we build and lead companies.
Full episode coming soon. One of my favorite snippets below.

Excited to share that @AppbrewInc has been recognized as a winner at The Product Awards (Q1 2026) by @ProductsCount .
Honoured to be in the company of teams like Amazon Quick, Amplitude, and Galileo.
Moments like this are never about a single product or a single milestone. They reflect the work, conviction, and consistency of a team over time.
I especially want to share this with @mayank020 and @lego_sharat, and the early builders who laid the foundation for what Appbrew is today.
A lot of what we’re seeing now is built on decisions and effort from those early days.
Grateful to the entire team for continuing to push forward and raise the bar.
And to our customers and partners who trust us to build alongside them, this recognition is as much yours as it is ours.
Grateful for the journey so far, and even more excited for what we’re building next.

"PMs shouldn’t be vibe coding." This is one of the most important takeaways from my recent conversation with @burkenstocks, CEO of @descript , about how they went about automating their PM team using AI, what they learned, and where they landed.

Great discussion at the @Clear office in New York hosted by @ProductsCount (@scmoatti) about: “How Product Leaders Make AI Decisions That Last”
Thank you to @SjGanguly , Amira Youssef and Vartika Rawat for a candid and practical conversation about what it really takes to move from AI excitement to disciplined execution.
A few points that stayed with me:
• AI today is about augmentation. As Amira shared, it is accelerating teams, not replacing them. Human validation remains critical, especially in regulated industries like healthcare and insurance.
• Foundations matter more than hype. Cloud migration, clean data, modern infrastructure and reducing tech debt are prerequisites before meaningful AI scale can happen. You cannot layer intelligence on top of broken systems.
• AI is not the answer to every problem. In some cases, the right move is redesigning the business process itself instead of adding another model.
• Cost discipline is real. AI operating costs are still unpredictable, so investments must tie back to measurable outcomes such as operational efficiency, cost reduction or market differentiation.
• In healthcare and insurance, trust is non-negotiable. Governance, validation loops and ongoing model auditing are not optional if you want AI to scale responsibly.
At @GOQii , we strongly believe AI must create tangible health outcomes, not just technical outputs. It should improve engagement, lower cost of care and strengthen trust across the ecosystem.
We are proud to be partnered with organizations like @BupaArabia that combine technological ambition with responsible execution. That is how real innovation in healthcare gets built.

Here is one of the most practical frameworks I’ve heard for building an AI-enabled team, shared by @burkenstocks, CEO of @descript, from my recent Product Talk by @ProductsCount podcast:
Get your team in a room.
Draw a T-shape chart.
Left column: What do we dislike about our jobs?
Right column: What do we love about our jobs?
Then use AI aggressively to automate the left column.
Free up time.
Double down on the right column.
That’s how you create a real 100X productivity.
This is the kind of grounded, operational thinking happening inside companies, actually building in the AI era.
The full Product Talk episode drops soon.
Grateful for the insights and clarity, Laura.
