Happy #InternationalWomensDay to our team and partners at @ProduxLabs and @ProductInst.
100% of our leadership team and 80% of our company are women. That wasn't by accident. I looked for the best. I'm inspired by our team every day. #prodmgmt
So far this approach is working: someone projected a plan on the screen calling it a strategy. Before I could say something, one of the people I’m coaching through the @ProduxLabs product mgmt course interjected and said ‘I’m sorry that’s not a strategy, it’s a plan ...- 1/2
@tiani_original@ProduxLabs Awesome, I had the great privilege of watching some great product and tech execs communicate not only what the overarching multi-year strategies are but in what ways the plans need to change and be stewarded through the year in order to focus on those outcomes.
@tiani_original@ProduxLabs Highly satisfying to see division heads agree that something in their orgs book of work takes a back seat to someone else because the cost of delay is higher and it's better aligned with the more urgent strategy.
Doesn't happen often but those leaders really got it.

Reflecting on the last decade in #prodmgmt.
Turning it into a blog post, but going to frame up some observations here from my own experience.
What else have you seen? We've come a long way, but we still have far to go.
