Schedule!
Monday - It Came From the Desert (TurboGrafx CD)
Wednesday - an utterly insane looking new TOTAL CONVERSION for Doom 2, Eye Juice
Friday - you read it right, I'm just playing Ocarina of Time, no gimmicks
All streams 6pm EDT!
I wonder how much engine similarity there is between the T&E Soft golf games on N64 and the ones on Saturn, and by extension, Virtual Hydlide. Could a madman successfully port Virtual Hydlide to the N64?
@herrdoktorphail It took the gameplay foundations of A Link to the Past and seamlessly expounded upon them in the third dimension. It's remarkable that it is both the template, and still one of the best examples of the genre. Up there with Mario 64 for best leaps from 2D to 3D.
Tomorrow, a very special stream - The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time! Can you believe I've been streaming for nearly 5 years and have never streamed this? It's one of my very favorite games. I deleted my childhood save for this, so come watch me play it Friday at 6pm EDT!
@xia_xenos Like, how did you preserve food back then and what would it taste like? He's got you covered. And he wears funny old clothes, but it doesn't feel corny or silly

@xia_xenos I'm a really big fan of Townsends! He specializes in 18th century cooking and other 18th century American topics. He follows historical recipes, explains them, and puts them in their historical context. Very enjoyable and relaxing!

@NAITOTokihiro This kind of natural relationship between foot movements and the angle of terrain and scrolling seem very hard to achieve in 3d games. I recall Xenoblade Chronicles 3 paid a lot of attention to that, and I was very impressed by it, because even in major studio games, it's rare
Eye Juice was spectacular! Did you ever think you'd see the Grand Budapest Hotel in Doom? Well now you have. Seriously, go play this wad. It's extremely beginner friendly, as well. Spectacular stuff!
