This guy, Judge William Young (a Reagan Appointee) is "a left wing activist" and "terrorist sympathizer" according to the WH because he is standing up for the first amendment. The crap out of this administration keeps flowing.
Delighted to announce I'll be doing two events in the New York Area this week. Wednesday at Theodore's Books in Oyster Bay with the great @RepSteveIsrael and Thursday Night at McNally Jackson books with the brilliant @amandastern https://t.co/r70TsrNzRN. Come join!
Renee was one of my students years ago. I held her baby. She was kind and talented, a working class mom who put herself through school despite circumstances that wouldโve crumpled the pathetic rich boy politicians who sadistically abetted her murder
God damn them all
@lindaburson7487 Hi. Thanks for reaching out. A better way to reach me is via email which you can find on my website https://t.co/yKrOK1WUzy. Happy to chat!
For those still on this platform, happy to announce the publication of my new book How to Know Your Self. It's a book that describes what this self is, why is malfunctions, and how you can make it work better. https://t.co/x9cJpvGLiw
Last year, I was "don't use GPT because it will give you a "C" level paper." This year, I am "how can we use GPT as an additional tool in our research kit?" AI is an unavoidable part of our future, so let's integrate it into instruction. This means fundamentally rethinking our approach pedagogy. The "cram and exam" model of teaching was always crappy and didn't necessarily improve learning or inspire critical thinking skills.
My students are using GPT to help them better code in R, to do more comprehensive lit reviews, and to help them edit work. This is where we'll all be using it, so in class, we go through of how to make it work better.
Where it falls short is when it writes papers for students, but here it's simply a matter of generating prompts that are not AI compatible. Also, GPT has many "tells" and it is pretty easy to see when their work is not their own.
@ReubenR80027912 This assumes her arcane and often unreadable prose has that much influence. I'm skeptical that she has moved the needle much compared to the gender-bending of Bowie, Prince, and so many other great artists.
