@JoeMerrick I learned most of the VGC stuff from watching videos and seeing my friend play a lot more than me during the SwSh time.
My biggest gripe with the game is the item pool. I want my Assault Vest and Air Balloon.

@JoeMerrick I think that you said it pretty well. It's pretty nice to start with a smaller pool of mons to choose from to get back into competitive though. Last time I seriously played competitive was during gen 6 (Smogon rules). I played a little bit of VGC with SwSh.
