The judge said deportation was likely after his release.

But he wasn’t deported. He was released back onto the streets of Newport, reportedly unmonitored.

Now he has been convicted of r*ping another woman.

Read that again.

An illegal migrant convicted of a serious sexual offence was allowed to remain in this country long enough to create another victim.

This is not compassion. It is catastrophic state failure. Empathetic suicide.

Deportation after serious sexual offences should not be a suggestion, a hope or a civil service aspiration.

It should be automatic.
