Variable renewable energy is not supplying 68.31% of your current electricity needs ( 23.77 GW )

@Dragias2657201@hausfath you mean Taurus coprolite production? There are some papers that see currents are changing. I have not kept them you can find them. I am not capable of evaluating them. Google

Variable renewable energy is not supplying 79.22% of your current electricity needs ( 30.53 GW )

This also explains why, over geological time, shifts in the positions of the continents (plate tectonics) lead to changes in oceanic circulation and, consequently, in climate, far more so than CO₂.
@CarbonBrief@DrSimEvans@MollyLempriere This is the problem. The UK now imports its energy. Placing a market price on an import when you should be using your own resources is economic suicide- which is what the UK has been doing with its energy policy
@hausfath That graph is entirely fiction based on all the assumptions needed to draw it. You need all the error bars. I am beginning to doubt your integrity
@hausfath There is no evidence its accelerating. However there is evidence we are getting the first signs of the cycle back to a colder period, like the Little Ice Age after the Medieval warm Period. The first place to look is ocean current changes

The IPCC carbon cycle is where the #climatescam starts. "Revisiting the Carbon Cycle" is a great paper that I wrote with Veyres and Maurin (2025).

@_JamesSteward_ Its not so long ago the only way you could communicate between different places was telegraph wires with dots and dashes. Anything more than the broadest estimations of climate are invalid- as to weather...
#auspol More incorrect results found from the Bureau of Meterology and released to day, they are giving scientists a bad name. However when you think about it, why would you work in an area collecting stats and analysing them when there are so many things you can do that generate products and jobs, can even make you wealthy or revolutionise our understanding like relativity, DNA, molecular biology, nanotechnology, geology and petroleum exploration nuclear and forensic science, computers, AI, quantum mechanics, the big bang or simulation theory?
@ProfMickWilson If only they stuck to collecting stats, the stats might not need such scrutiny.
I'd also like to see a comparison of weather predicted with what was observed. Are predictions any better than they were, say, 20 years ago?
