बिना अतिरिक्त खेती और सिंचाई के उगने वाले आक के पौड का संग्रह कर किसान इसे बाजार से जोड़ रहे हैं।

टेक्सटाइल क्षेत्र में मिल्कवीड फाइबर के बढ़ते उपयोग और मांग से यह किसानों के लिए मूल्यवर्धन का नया माध्यम बन रहा है।

#VandeBharat | What was once considered a weed is now emerging as a source of livelihood and innovation in Rajasthan. Through a unique initiative supported by the Ministry of Textiles, fibres extracted from the Aak plant are being transformed into warm, lightweight products such as jackets, shawls, gloves, and blankets.

The initiative is creating new income opportunities for rural women, promoting sustainable fashion, and supporting the vision of Vocal for Local through eco-friendly, indigenous textile solutions.
