@Deaphen@SarinAndCo Kudos to you and your team.
Even if there is one bureaucrat in the system,it's one too many.
Each one of them takes pride in delaying every process related to civil aviation so as to enable the one below to demand a service fee. Great job as you have succeeded despite them.
The Operator is required to establish a system of Operations Control for Safety of Operations( Not commercial interest) Operations Controller can override the decision of the PIC for safety reasons: @DGCAIndia can and should require all operations control decision sent on ACARS be retained for oversight for a predefined period:
OCC of @IndiGo6E was designed to maintain Operations Control :
THE PIC UNDER USE OF EMERGENCY AUTHORITY CAN IGNORE THE DIRECTIONS OF OPS CONTROL IF IN HIS/HER OPINION HIS ACTION IS THE SAFER OPTION.
THE PIC HAS THE RESPONSIBILITY& AUTHORITY FOR FINAL DISPOSITION OF THE AIRCRAFT UNDER HIS COMMAND.
FDTL for flight crew shameless and gutless @DGCAIndia & @MoCA_GoI do a 180 on their CAR and reverse their stand thereby giving precedence to operator commercial interest over Flight Safety and public safety @shukla_tarun@jagritichandra ( re your piece) the revised CAR is as good as toilet paper supplier by #PLO ( Permanent Latrine Orderly) India’s air safety regulator
@nidhichaudhary@CaptShaktiLumba@airindia@TataCompanies NEW IN: AI crew,who report Fatigue to the airline safety dept., are called for Counseling and given advice for strict action against them if they do it again. Moral of the story-Keep flying till your last breath with minimal rest by forgetting your personal and household lives.
Never expected such poor journalism by @ari_maj presenting half truths as fact implying that the poor Airlines are being given a hard time by @DGCAIndia whereas ITS THE PILOTS WHO ARE SUFFERING : YOU didn’t bothered to read the FDTL or speak TO ANY PILOTS who are at the brunt end of management induced fatigue flying to max legal limits, minimum legal rest continuous operation at night with 4 landing:
You just pushed the Airline’s agenda to mislead the general public : you deserve to be blocked and boycotted by All professional pilots: I
will block you on X and request all pilots to block & boycott you in protest of your biased reporting
@EconomicTimes Kind Attention #TheEditor expected more balanced journalism from your paper and more professional journalist.
#Shame
There is no Airline in India that has a FAIR JUST AND EQUITABLE culture in the flight operations ,Pilot Training and pilot scheduling departments:
Once Pilot join management they become like Jekyll &Hyde characters and try to out do each other by screwing pilots so that they appear as tough managers but are rotten, corrupt, gutless arse locking scoundrels
May they lose an engine on their next take off
There should be a a similar course for Airline managers: if the Managements of say @airindia and @IndiGo6E were the aircraft they both would have crashed it: then they would have to go through Management Upset Recovery Training #MUpRT. Start with CEO COO and HR followed by Head Ops, Training and Safety.
Election have nothing to do with it: June quarter is a lean period for air travel so that's why @JM_Scindia delayed implementation: @DGCAIndia is just the Puppet thst published and notified the CARs:The FDTL CAR and the strategy to amend the CAR of 2019 is of @JM_Scindia and Secy @MoCA_GoI :
There are 2 Writ Petitions pending before Delhi High Court on FDTL CAR of 2019:
In the Nov hearing in DHC DGCA approached the court with a plea that it will amend the subject CAR: There after the hearing was fixed for March 2024 before which the amended CAR was to be notified.
This is way a fresh CAR was not issued and comments to the Draft CAR ignored :
The game plane was not fatigue reduction but to save face before DHC: so they tinkered with 2019 CAR with increase in rest periods This threw a spanner in the works of both @IndiGo6E@airindia@AirIndiaX mainly so The Maharaj @JM_Scindia slipped in effective date as 1st June 2024:trying to kill 2 birds with one CAR Firstly to fool the HighCourt and at the same time help the Operators in their busy 1st and 2nd quarters : The 3rd quarter is a lean quarter:
Is upto to the petitioners of the Writs to open the eyes of the judge of DHC to the slight of hand: They must demand that DGCA come out with a new Fatigue Management rule under Rule 42A (Fatigue Management ) and not a CAR: the Draft rule would need to be notified for public comment by Gazette and comments made public and reason of rejecting comments given: This is how @EASA and @FAANews DO THING TRANSPARENTLY and not OPAQUELY that MOCA & DGCA FUNCTION
#JagoPilotJago
@JM_Scindia you and @DGCAIndia have tried to fool the public with your press release and the revision to the 2019 CAR
On one hand the CAR clearly says it's applicable Forthwith
But to placate the Operators
the devil lied is in the small print:
2.2 All operators engaged in scheduled air transport operations may continue to
operate in compliance with CAR Section 7 Series J Part III Issue III dated 24th
April 2019 till approval of their respective scheme in compliance with this CAR
or 01 June 2024 whichever is earlier. No operator / flight crew engaged in such
operations shall operate beyond 01 June 2024 unless the requirements of this
CAR are complied with.
@DelhiHighCourt reference the Writ petitions on FDTL coming up for final in March: 2024 for which on Nov @DGCA ASSURED THE COURT that they would come out with a revised FDTL :
The revised FDTL just shows the contempt you hold the High court in
Got this from an Air Traffic Controller:
The situation is alarming @MoCA_GoI@DGCAIndia : @AAi_official
the system seems to be breaching critical safety levels: Wake up before you have blood on your hands: @JM_Scindia
"Now ATCOs are burdened with additional workload . Procedural Controller ratings are not monitored by DGCA. ATCOs cite that exclusive Procedural Control is not feasible and safe in TMAs with such heavy density traffic. ATC has no mechanism or authority to implement flow control measures except at Delhi. Safety is being compromised daily at Mumbai , Chennai & Bangalore due to high density traffic and controller fatigue. Controllers forced to work overtime without remuneration. Radar Controllker forced to handle RT / coordination & Traffic simultaneously as Procedural Controllers are forbidden from transmitting. Even toilet breaks are impossible as there is just enough manpower to man operational channels! Situation is critical & alarming . DGCA is inactive and precipitating stress by delaying issuing Rating and Medical Assessments.
@icao@Iata@IFALPA need to intervene
I am NOT an alarmist or prone to yell Wolf:
Leave it to you all to come to your conclusion on the outcome of of India's Aviation Recipe:
Start with Passenger growth increasing YoY, MoM,
Add unrestricted aircraft deliveries:
Add increased flights and routes
Add Capt Shortage
Add accelerated Command upgrade
Add Fatigued pilots
Add Fatigued Air traffic Controller due Operator friendly Pilot&Controller duty times of Max Duty &Min Rest
Add Sleeping @MoCA_GoI & @DGCAIndia
What outcome do you expect from this recipe?
a) no need to worry since India aviation is a functioning anarchy and its safety record is unblemished
b) Recipe for Disaster
c) business as Usual: As there are two scapegoats : Pilots and Controllers to hang any accident on
@atcguildindia@ProfPilotAssn
#ALPA_India
@IFALPA@FAANews@EASA@ICAO
No Airline presently has a good work ethic and culture: They are all unethical Airlines and getting from bad to worse: Till I was with @IndiGo6E it had excellent work ethic and culture: After the IPO IT STARTED SLIDING:
To my mind the best among the worst is @AkasaAir perhaps! As it is still small: The worst regretfully is @airindia group despite having the TATA CODE OF CONDUCT which for some reason is not applicable to the Airline's management
@TataCompanies ( it's still 2023)
@CaptShaktiLumba@DGCAIndia This scam has been on for a while. Can't understand why we should go to airforce doctors for medicals. Look at the FAA what a professional medical check up system they have.
Pilots are forced to buy expensive FIP insurance or join benevolent fund like air India and ALPA India.
Since we are talking about ethics let's paint the The whole unethical picture that involved the IAF's Director General of Medical Services, under whom come The IAF's Central Medical
Establishment ( AFCME) IAF's AIM Bangalore,The Director Medical Services of @DGCAIndia Insurance Companies and Operators all in an unholy nexus to keep pilots TMU ( Temporary Medically Unfit)
for long duration and NOT Declaring them Permenant Medically Unfit) in views of the huge compensation payouts both the Insurance Companies and Operators will have to folk out to a PMU pilots:
So the DMS of DGCA needs to introspect whether he's doing his job ethically and Director General of CA , an hon'ble man should look into this scam
@MoCA_GoI must demand from DGCA how many pilots are languishing in TMU status only on BASIC PAY and order an immediate review of all TMU cases by a Independent Medical Board of AIIMS doctors guided by @ICAO medical Standards and not Air Force Standards
@JM_Scindia you are a pilot put on your pilot hat on top of your Ministerial Hat and "Just Do The Right Thing"
It may not get you votes but I Gaurantee you'll collect lots of #GoodKarma :
Does any Of the so called investigative Aviation Journalist have the gumption to take on this in the public interest and information
