There is no necessity for the ALPA president to be an airline pilot which you are well aware and I have worked with jet airways for 20 years which for someone with your intellect may not recognise as an airline.

@sjlazars Spare a thought for the air ambulance and nonscheduled operators who are paying 221 per litre as against 80 by scheduled airlines. Pure exploitation and step motherly attitude by not recognising NSOPs as an important and integral part of civil aviation

As we introspect the Civil Aviation Scenario that unfold in December and gauging public attitudes It’s time that civil aviation stays stablished:
It is expected that IndiGo &AirIndia pilots keep their heads down and not react to Airline Managements trying to push them to react:

“THE REPORT” is out and I am certain that appropriate action will be taken against all wrong doers who acted against the PUBLIC INTEREST.

The ELEPHANT in the room is pilot discontent, harassment, victimization and the poorest Pilot/PilotManagement relations among world Airlines for which @IndiGo6E is strangely proud of instead of being ashamed:
IndiGo believes it has won the control of Civil Aviation battle as per jubilations in OCC & Flt(ops):
Actually they have only poked the bear:
They forget KARMA: That is their biggest folly.

Having said that I am appealing to C of A Minister @RamMNK and Secy @MoCA_GoI to look into the very poor Industry workmen relations otherwise, sooner or later This will destabilize the India’s Air Transport Industry:

They both should meet with @In_Alpa and a small group of pilots to understand the hostile treatment, harassment victimization and treatment literally as Bonded labour i.e, SALVES

@IndiGo6E the last 7 flights I have travelled in had the following in common. An inflated block time, a message stating that the departure is preponed by 10 mins due ops reasons and then a late arrival of the airplane and hence a delayed departure 😞

Every time you think you have seen the worst of Air India , they out do themselves.
Have been on the tarmac in the airplane for 9 hrs with absolutely no information. Only silver lining being great copax and the most wonderful set of cabin crew.

@6ESinger157593 This is indeed laughable however, this has been the norm for the last 15 years. The DGCA does everything except what it is supposed to do. The new DGs report proudly mentions the amount of fines levied, which is an archaic mindset, shunned by developed countries.

DGCA must review its CAT2&Cat3 authorization requirements CARs: They are out dated wrt pilot experience and Airline Experience: @IndiGo6E CAT 3 authorization shows up the stupidity of the CARs. Indigo was Launched in Aug 2006 and had CAT 3B approval by Dec2006 and has been operating to CAT3 minimums safely and efficiently with the largest number of CAT 3 compliant pilots: The havoc every year due to FOG is primarily due @DGCAIndia and it outdated policies: DGCA CARs are not cast in stone as a edict from God: All need to be reviewed by a committee of outside experts so as to bring India’s aviation level with International Standards given the tremendous growth of India’s aviation industry :
@narendramodi @PMOIndia need to put both @MoCA_GoI and @DGCAIndia ON NOTICE TO PULL UP THEIR SOCKS AND ALSO CARRY OUT COMPETENCE REVIEW OF THEIR OFFICERS: THOSE LACKING THE REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLSET MUST BE REEDUCATED AND UP SKILLED: FAILING WHICH INDIA’s AVIATION INDUSTRY WILL FACE DISASTER
