Wow conveniently removing the EXACT sector that Jonas had been planning to drop Pog and put 10 min into him. Sadly Tadej’s tour win will now have an asterisk

Missed the stage today but needed to log on to say fuck all of the casuals that were going nuts about Wout’s underperformance early in the week.
Everyone else have a blessed day #WattsForWout
Pogacar's domestique Mikkel Bjerg criticizes Visma and Alpecin's pacing after Pogacar mechanical - "It could also be that I'm just a bad loser" #Cycling https://t.co/1byqBtl4IV
This is pathetic, loser behavior from a team that left their leader out to dry yesterday. When has it ever been standard to sit up when someone punctures in this race. This isn’t the yellow jersey getting a random flat in the peloton dipshit. #parisroubaix
🇩🇰 Bjerg accuses Visma and Alpecin of 'small-time' tactics after 🇸🇮 Pogacar puncture
🗣️ "When Visma and Alpecin sit up and lead immediately when Tadej has a puncture, you think they're being pretty small-time"

Oh give me a break. If he had a puncture in the rear he would have been dropped well before the sprint. Even he is not good enough to keep a pace like that on a flat. Classless behavior
Morgado: "I think Pogacar had to sprint with a flat tire. We checked his bike, and it looked like he had a puncture in the rear."

Wout van Aert: “I am going to Milano Sanremo to win. I know I can win, because Sanremo is a race par excellence where anything is possible. I think my legs were good this past week. I am going there to win."
"I have never ridden a bad Sanremo, so I am happy to be back. Last year, I watched the finale unfold with a bit of a heavy heart from an altitude training camp in Tenerife."
“I don’t know who started that claim that I lost my winner instincts. Of course, I understand that I win considerably less than I used to, but that doesn’t mean the winner in me has disappeared. If I can just have a good classics season from now on, where I can give my best every time, I will be satisfied. I hope the results will follow then.”
“The work is more or less done, and I have done everything I can to be as good as possible. Now let those big one-day races follow.”

Fails to recognize that Pog, even at 80% is still better than most at 100%. Clearly evidenced by the fact he only finished 4th in the stage. “Special bike setup” as if Pog doesn’t have the resources in team to do the same? Cmon. “One of the most overrated victories” is a stretch.
Wout on the special bike setup, wider tyres, his terrain beating a knee-injured, mentally fried Pogačar who had no teammates. One of the most overrated victories (but no need to tell the norm viewer)
I say it again, as much as I love cycling it is not remotely popular enough to warrant this type of behavior. The notion that he is getting mobbed by fans anywhere in public is simply made up. Anyone who has followed Tadej knows he’s obsessed with attention to begin with
There are a lot of questions about why Tadej Pogačar is riding in a neutral jerseys during trainings instead of the UAE world champion’s one and how the UAE sponsors even allow it… but the answer is simple.
He simply wants to be so much less recognizable. The rainbow kit strikes the eyes immediately, while people don’t look that much at a rider in the plain white or black kit.
And how UAE even allow it? Well, their biggest interest for Pogi is him performing at the very best at races and in order to make sure he does that, he needs to be fully focused and not distracted at trainings by fans stopping him for a photos, autographs, or even cars honking at him. So they are okay with that. And he is still riding in his own collection Pissei kit, which sponsors the UAE team, so it is okay.
