The TP is something that I put very little thought into.

The majority of my focus is the SL. How much risk I am taking. When can I adjust it to reduce exposure.

And when my trade is very close to the target, I don't hold 100% of the position..

If you're the type of trader that is holding a trade to squeeze an extra 0.2R out of it, but willing to let it turn around on you and stop you out for BE, or negative.. then your issue isn't the TP.. it's the GREED.

Well - it is another mirage from analysts who do not LOOK!

The current level of Capital Expenditure in the US is far below what it has been most of the period since 1964 - as a percentage of GDP.

What IS in fact keeping GDP above ZERO is.... Government Expenditures.

Again - the reason for the chit-chat on this - is due to focus on the very TOP of the Economy. The FAANGs etc. But the REAL ECONOMY.... is slumping!
