I had the pleasure of giving a talk at @BrownUnivHealth's Dement Fellows Sleep and Chronobiology Summer Program. I also enjoyed learning about the life of the "Father of American Sleep Medicine" through the eyes of his daughter, Cathy Dement Roosbelwn. #sleepresearcher
The housing crisis in states like CA and NY is pushing people out, while more affordable red states are growing in population and influence. This isn’t just an economic issue—it’s about how politics and the economy are intertwined.
Harvard has set an example for other higher-ed institutions – rejecting an unlawful and ham-handed attempt to stifle academic freedom, while taking concrete steps to make sure all students at Harvard can benefit from an environment of intellectual inquiry, rigorous debate and mutual respect. Let’s hope other institutions follow suit.

APHA is disappointed, but not surprised, by the Senate’s decision to confirm RFK Jr. to lead HHS. It is our hope that he stands on what he promised during his testimony and prioritizes making America healthier, rather than sowing distrust.
