this "Poopcopter" literally picks up dog shit from your backyard lol
> some guy built it for his corgi, Twinkie
> it's an AI drone that patrols a GPS-mapped area 10–15 feet above the grass
> a camera scans the yard while an AI model trained on photos of Twinkie’s poop marks each target
> once it finds a pile, the camera and LiDAR guide the drone down within 6 inches
> it lands with a 3D-printed scoop open underneath, then twists 30° to close the scoop around the poop
> then it carries that pile to a disposal area, opens the scoop, and returns for the next one
right now it’s a prototype, but i can already tell this is a $1B product lol
The city of Phoenix Arizona started a ‘Photo Safety Program.” They setup speed cameras that take a photo if you go 11 mph over the speed limit
🚨 A private company then comes to your door to serve you the ticket and get your signature, dressed very similar to Amazon
The city outsourced the ticket program to a company called Verra Mobility
The private company handles basically everything, they
- Installing and operating the cameras
- Processing of the images
- They mail the notice
- They then go out and serve people who don’t respond their ticket
The private company Verra Mobility gets a base fee of about $3,000 per camera per month plus $20 for every ticket that gets paid
This creates a clear incentive to pursue collection aggressively
This is insane… We now have private companies with access to all our information….. sending people out to actually serve and collect money….
When I point the remote directly at the TV, nothing happens.
If I accidentally drop it between the couch cushions, it switches from Netflix to Hulu, opens four apps, changes the subtitles to Portuguese, and somehow starts playing Christmas music.
