Starting on 11/8, American Express cards that come with monthly Uber Credits will require putting the Uber ride/meal on an AmEx card in order to use the credit.

AmEx continues to do everything to make its cards’ benefits more annoying to use in the hopes that you won’t use them

I mean, conspicuous consumption is at an all time high, and having a product (i.e. a card) that stands out from others is a great marketing move. It’s a big part of why people want the Centurion card.

I would gladly stick a Platinum, White, Aluminum, Glitter Bilt card in my wallet. 😂

(And I say this as someone without any affiliate links from any the majors including Amex but did make content about the color of my new white gold Amex 😂)
