Amoree Brown’s journey to a high-quality education took a turn in 7th grade when he entered a large public middle school that felt unsafe and unmotivating.
His experience there took a serious toll on his well-being and love of learning, until his mother found North Carolina’s Opportunity Scholarship. With that support, he was able to attend Wayne Christian School, which provided the safe, supportive environment he needed to thrive once again.
This is a perfect example of how school choice can restore a student’s confidence, safety, and future.
When parents are given the freedom to choose an education rooted in biblical truth, students thrive.
The 2026 Ohio State Test scores show that Heritage Christian School students are outperforming the statewide average, all while receiving less than half the funding of neighboring public schools and serving a majority low-income student population. More importantly, students are being equipped with a quality education while being grounded in the truth of God's Word and the dignity of every human life.
Educational freedom matters. By advocating for programs like EdChoice and founding the OCEN Scholarship Granting Organization, CCV has helped more families access education that enables their children to flourish academically, spiritually, and personally.

We often assume education policy is either/or.
But research highlighted by @parthurgraff suggests Florida has done something innovative:
Funding a school choice program that benefits participating students and nearby public school students.
Alert, sometimes it’s both/and.

The American Dream Act will help Medicaid recipients transition from public assistance to private healthcare coverage.
This one means a lot to me as somebody who had to fight my way off government assistance and out of poverty. 👇
