MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT
We are migrating ethereum:0x7987f03462200b3d8a072e02c89a8a41dcb124ee from Ethereum Mainnet to @RobinhoodCrypto Chain!
We have worked incredibly hard to make fully custom @Uniswap v4 hook launches possible through a launchpad.
We were the first to do it, and we do not want all of that work and potential to sit unused.
Robinhood Chain currently has the attention, builders and new projects that an early product like Programmable needs.
We would rather move now than wait for Ethereum to receive that level of attention again.
This is not a normal relaunch, and current holders are not being left behind. No action is required right now. If you want your current allocation to carry over, simply continue holding ethereum:0x7987f03462200b3d8a072e02c89a8a41dcb124ee and wait for the official migration instructions.
A dedicated migration page will go live later today. It will explain exactly how the migration works, what holders need to do and how current allocations will be carried over.
Only follow instructions published through our official accounts and https://t.co/yHYuxe0HUU
Builders will still be able to launch fully custom hooks on Ethereum through Programmable.
The Robinhood Chain launchpad integration is also coming very soon: Builders will be able to launch fully custom hooks there through the same Programmable infrastructure.
We will publish the migration details and a short updated roadmap later today.

Hey @graildoteth , really appreciate the mention and you taking the time to look at what we’re building.
Fully custom Uniswap v4 hook launches are already live on Programmable for ETH Mainnet. We’re now bringing the same infrastructure to Robinhood Chain, and very soon anyone will be able to launch custom v4 hooks there through our launchpad as well.
We believe Programmable will be better positioned there, with more attention, builders and new projects entering the ecosystem.

Our main focus remains custom v4 hooks, but we gave Classic token launches a few updates as well.
From now on, Classic meme coins will have 30% more liquidity.
We also lowered the minimum swap fee from 1% to 0.1%, giving creators the option to launch tokens with much lower trading fees.
We’ve also started working on our @RobinhoodCrypto Chain integration and should be live there soon
Submission requirements:
-A custom hook and its official token must be launched through https://t.co/gh8Sd4OD81
-The project must have a working website
-The project must have its own X account
-The submission form must be completed by September 10th

The first Programmable Hookathon starts today!
Now that custom hook launches are live on Ethereum mainnet, we’re opening a two-week Hookathon with a $10,000 prize pool:
We want to see the most creative custom hooks builders can come up with.
Submissions will be judged on usefulness, originality, execution, genuine interest, and how meaningfully the hook expands what an onchain asset or market can do.
The prize pool is there to encourage builders to take an idea seriously, build it properly, and launch something people can actually use.
Robinhood Chain support will open in the coming days, and projects launched on either network will be eligible.
All requirements must be completed by September 10th You’ll find them below this post
The first external project has now launched a fully custom Uniswap v4 hook through https://t.co/gh8Sd4OD81
We only wanted to mention it because it’s the first project to complete the full custom launch flow on the platform. This is not an endorsement or financial advice. Please do your own research and always trade at your own risk.
For us, this is mainly a technical milestone. We’ve been working our asses off on the infrastructure. Seeing the entire process work for a real project instead of one of our own tests is the proof we needed.
The core technology is live, and it works. We’re honestly just proud to see it happen.
Today, we’re focusing on the smaller details around the launch experience. We want project logos, websites, X accounts and other basic metadata to be required at launch, so people don’t have to waste time researching whether a project has even done the basics.
We’re also improving the indexer so new launches appear on the website quickly and can be traded properly from the start.
What’s left today is mostly cleanup.
Tomorrow, we start shifting our focus to Robinhood Chain
Very excited today to launch my own custom hook on @0xprogrammable !
$shard is 10,000 nfts on a bonding curve. You mint from a bonding curve built on univ4, and you can sell back to it any time. There is always a bid for your NFT on UNIV4! The art is generated and stored fully on-chain with no ipfs, and no image server.
Every trade pays a 1% fee and that fee goes directly to NFT holders. On mainnet the 1% splits three ways. 0.8% to mainnet NFT holders. 0.1% to programmable and 0.1% to me as the builder.
Trade the new hook now on ETH mainnet here:

It's been an interesting to work with the programmable team and integrate a working product on top of their platform.
Much props to the programmable team!
A few people have messaged me about the new v4 launchpads showing up, and I keep seeing the same idea on my timeline: make it possible to launch a hook as quickly and easily as possible.
I understand why people are building that. I just think the more important problem is somewhere else.
For me, v4 is still too difficult for traders and investors to understand. Most people cannot look at a hook and quickly understand what it changes, what could go wrong, or why they might want to invest in the project behind it.
That is the part I care about making easier:
On the developer side, I actually think some work should remain. If you are asking people to put money into something, you should have to explain it properly.
You should have real docs, a website, public accounts, clear branding, and enough information for people to judge what they are buying.
I don’t want a single prompt to become a live project ten minutes later with nothing around it.
AI can help with the work, but it should not remove the need to do the work.
If launching becomes almost effortless, we will probably get many more projects, but not necessarily better ones.
Attention and liquidity get divided between all of them, and it becomes harder for serious projects to stand out.
Personally, I would rather see fewer launches that people have actually put time into.
That’s the tradeoff I’m thinking about with Programmable right now. I’m much more interested in making hooks understandable to the people buying them than in maximizing the number of hooks people can launch.
The next few weeks are about onboarding developers and helping them launch their first custom hooks on Programmable.
We will be active in Discord and work directly with builders whenever a launch needs extra attention.
We also want to make building here worth it through regular hackathons and strong prizes.
At the same time, we are improving the review and security system, growing the team, and adding more chains. Robinhood Chain is the first one we are working toward.
The Plan is to give builders the freedom to choose the chain that makes the most sense for their project.
We have learned from past mistakes, so we will not announce timelines or features before they are ready.
We will keep building and show the progress as it happens.
We believe @Uniswap v4 hooks can become much more than anti snipe tools, or short lived Ponzis.
They can power new games, markets, creative assets, and onchain products we have not seen before.
We want https://t.co/gh8Sd4OD81 to be the place where those ideas get built and launched
