It is likely to be against the Conservation Directive (Article 4). Previous installations have had enforced removal. Whatever the current view - planning permission will be required.
@Royal_Greenwich just got one of your letters about solar panels... one quick question, are there any issues for those who live on the @ProgressEstate given its conservation area status?
Quick update on anti-social behaviour on Lovelace Green - please do contact @CDavisEltham or myself if you have any concerns or want to keep us informed about what is going on. @ProgressEstate#Eltham

Lovelace Green is a lovely space in the middle of the @ProgressEstate but the bushes are now badly overgrown. I’ve been in touch with @Royal_Greenwich Council to ask for them to be cut back. @ElthamMatters
Well done to @Royal_Greenwich for using #Eltham as a venue for a BBC report about social distancing. As a suggestion, maybe opening the other gates would help people keep their distance? https://t.co/D9XQOEHPQY
VE Day tomorrow - any residents' on the @ProgressEstate having a stay at home front garden party, please DM me any photos so I can add them to website https://t.co/amWI3SQmMl

As local Councillors we have been informed by the SGN gas company that they are now only continuing with safety-critical and emergency work. This means they will temporarily postpone their planned gas network upgrade on Granby Road. @ProgressEstate
Let's show the Progress Estate NHS workers how much we appreciate what they are doing at this difficult and challenging time.
Lets all open our front doors and give them a mighty applause, cheer, trumpet, whistle or any other appreciative noises. #clapforoutcarers
