On this day 345 years ago (24-Nov-1675), Guru Tegh Bahadur was publicly beheaded on the orders of the tyrannical Turko-Mughal despot Muhi-ud-Din Mohammed (Aurangzeb), for refusing to convert to Islam.

The execution was carried out near the Sunheri mosque in Chandni Chowk, Delhi.
