Almost a year later, our @ProjReimaginate outdoor classroom is going strong.

We pulled off an incredible one-day transformation today. Ss designed the space, built furniture, and brought our new Japanese Garden to life. We will add a torri gate, Koi fish mural and bamboo to screen the street.Awesome effort from kids on a hot, Spring day!

Today, our day revolved around fire, stories and community. We enjoyed the space and each other’s company. We found time to decorate our benches in the PM and say thanks to everyone who help us on this epic project.

In 10 weeks we went from neglected eyesore to inviting sanctuary.

The two sides of our Secret Garden are now complete. The transformation is stunning.

We finished our project a day early which means tomorrow we can relax by the fire pit and enjoy what we’ve created. So proud of these kids.
