@Rajatsoni@ThrillaRilla369 They charge the insurance company much, much more. The insurance company says “this is actually what we’ll pay” which is still at price gouging levels, and then you’re on the hook with whatever your deductible is.
Appreciate the quick DM reply, @AskCapitalOne but it’s been 24 hours and I still haven’t heard from your travel-partner team about my hurricane-affected trip. Please escalate to a supervisor; I’m still waiting on a written decision.
Thanks @SandalsResorts. I’ve already DMed the booking details — really hoping your corporate team can help since @CapitalOneTravel and @HopperSupport have been going in circles for days.
This is supposed to be a honeymoon trip, and all that’s needed is for Sandals to release the funds so Capital One can process the refund.
Hey @SandalsResorts and @CapitalOneTravel — you both seriously need to do better.
I’ve spent days trying to get help for a honeymoon-level vacation I booked through @CapitalOneTravel (by @Hopper), and all I’ve gotten is finger-pointing.
Respectfully, this is the same number I’ve called repeatedly over the past several days waiting on hold for hours, and still have no written follow-up or resolution.
There’s a Category 4 hurricane hitting Jamaica and @HopperSupport keeps giving out phone numbers instead of actual assistance. This is not acceptable.
At this point, I’ll be filing a formal dispute and public complaint if this isn’t resolved within 24 hours.
Consumers deserve better than being stranded in an endless loop of “not our department.”
