People often feel powerless when it comes to the issues within the Church.
Why feel that way when you can raise the sons that will become the priests someday?
Whoever rocks the cradle rules the world.
Play the long game.
"The Docetists abstain from the Eucharist because they do not confess that the Eucharist is the flesh and blood of our Saviour Jesus Christ. (...) They contradict the gift of God." (St. Ignatius of Antioch, Martyrdom c. 110; Letter to the Smyrnaeans, 7, 1)
I found myself in a similar position a couple years ago and I have come to realize that my religion should be the guiding principle for my political views.
St. Thomas More, pray for Nathan. ๐
@FeelsGuy2003 It's too much of a struggle to reconcile my politics and my religion which seems to contrast pretty hard whenever I use one to justify the other.
@ChromeBarracuda It is actually real masculinity to love and care for fatherless children.
Not the ideal situation for anybody involved, but it takes a real man to see that regardless of circumstance, the children are innocent and deserving of love.
The world needs less fatherless behavior.
No response at all.
Not even an acknowledgement that they received my report.
I'll check back in a couple weeks and see what happens.
I'm in the process of moving to another house so I'm busy IRL. Talk to you soon.
God bless you.
So I just witnessed liturgical abuse first hand.
The priest called a woman to hold the ciborium in front right next to him and then told the laity they could pick up the host and communicate to themselves.
This is against Sacramentum Redemptoris and GIRM #164
I'm heartbroken.
