Senator Birdwell has been my Senator for as long as he was in office. He always took my call and had a responsive staff. I am going to miss him, but the administration will benefit for his leadership.
.@SenatorBirdwell has spent his entire life giving to this country, and today we celebrate him being sworn in as Assistant Secretary of Defense for Sustainment. From serving in the US Army and surviving the attack on the Pentagon on 9/11, to faithfully representing the people of Texas in the Senate, his story is one of resilience, honor, and deep love of country.
Texas is better because of men like him and we are praying for him and his family! #txlege
Congratulations to Wayne Everett on his victory. When it was uncovered that the Uvalde Co under the judges direction paved a drive way on private property, Wayne was the only one that continually pushed for answers. Onward to November.
I can’t resist this challenge. Try this… “Andrew Infante for Cameron County Justice of the Peace” or how about “Clarissa Gonzales for Starr County Commissioner”.
Had a great time campaign planning with Jonathan Campos for Cameron Co Commissioner. As always, scheduling is an important part. Here we are going over what events he needs to attend and the days he should block walk.
Clarissa Gonzales is Running for County Commissioner in Starr County. She is a hard charging, successful businesswoman. She is running against an entitled incumbent that was appointed, not because he was qualified, but because “that’s what his dad would have wanted”
@TrueTXProject@MattShaheen killed every election integrity bill in the 89th Session, including closed primaries and cleaning the voter rolls. He would rather listen to the Project Red Texas run by a lobbyist who opposes closed primaries than the grassroots. He’s now the definition of a RINO.
Back on the road with signs. Kleberg County has worked hard to become a Republican stronghold. One of the last positions we need to pick up is co court at law.
Seriously, has there even been a more uninformed, bias media platform in Texas this century than the TX Tribune?
Plenty of left and right POV platforms but the ignorance of the California/East coast grown staffers is astonishing.
Please let me know.
If in doubt who has the lucky vibes in TX.
TX Dems are bringing @BernieSanders is their state convention.
They are still tone deaf... And out of touch with real Texans.

Please add @NYCMayor Mamdani and @AOC
I read the article and I came away asking myself, “what was the cost?” And “what was the consolidation of power?” The Republican Party exists to elect Republicans. All the other things are extraneous background noise.
Excellent article, and I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
Approximately two years ago, I signed onto a letter along with other county chairmen from around the state regarding the need for field offices in key areas of the state heading into the 2024 general election.
That never materialized. In fact, it was never addressed.
More on that later.
