Meeting with Mr Alagi Bojang this morning to discuss the itinerary for February’s @Project_Gambia trip. A couple of exciting-sounding possible additions; I’m really excited!

Tomorrow Alagi will be meeting Mr Lambert to do some project planning, and visiting lessons with 7MCW, 7BW and 9CF to talk about life in The Gambia.

Alagi has had such a wonderful few hours with Project Gambia students from three different year groups! He’s heading back home now to watch the Liverpool match 😀

Today Alagi will be visiting the Junior School before joining in with Mrs Moore’s @Food_Grange lesson. After school he will be heading to The Coachman in Hartford to meet up with anyone who wants to come and have a chat!

We’ve had a fantastic night at Hartford Hall with Alagi and Team Gambia 2020. They were full of questions about the school and Gambian culture - they’re going to make a great team.

Just 5 months to go until Team Gambia 2020 fly out to Banjul! Their first task this week is to welcome and host Alagi at The Grange.

Alagi’s timetable for next week is shaping up well. He’s visiting @Food_Grange with year 8, @GrangeGeography with year 7 and visiting @Juniors_Grange for the morning! We can’t wait to see him.

This time four years ago, Alagi Bojang was awarded the Day Cup for his outstanding efforts in establishing a partnership between The Grange School and the community of Brikama, among with Mr and Mrs Buckley.
