@SenRubenGallego That's not what the 14th Amendment says. There's an "and subject to the jurisdiction thereof" that isn't being included.
Congress ought to clarify this. But y'all don't seem to have the intelligence to know what to do.
I am opposed to those coming solely to pop out a baby but has loyalty to another country (meaning they have no intention of living nor becoming a citizen of the US) and uses this bad interpretation of the 14th Amendment to give their baby citizenship. That's what Chinese birth tourism is about.
@AZAGMayes In Article 1 of the constitution is the Election Clause, it gives congress the power to review state elections and intervene if they are corrupt.
You should get a refund on your law degree because you don’t know anything about THE LAW.
@Passion4law@Adrian_Fontes Vote by mail is more costly and more trouble than its worth and benefits. And the worst part is creating public no confidence in the voting system. Bringing back Election Day voting and restricting absentee ballots is the only way to regain voter confidence and curb fraud
@reinac64781524@Adrian_Fontes Sorry but California is ground zero for voting corruption. Arizona is quickly learning from California but hasn’t reached their level yet
