#FHSDFridayFact...In FHSD, 13,801 (73.6%) of our parents/guardians are registered to vote. In the April 3 election, 5,112 (37%) voted. FHSD has 1,053 (44.4%) employees who live in District, and 975 (92.6%) are registered to vote; 748 (76.7%) of those voted in the April election.

FHSD is fortunate to have many teachers who are both highly experienced and have advanced degrees, factors that impact the average teacher salary relative to neighboring districts. Teachers’ salaries did not change in the last two years. Vote YES on #PropLearn April 3!

The last time FHSD voters approved an operating levy increase was in 2004. The cost of goods/services associated with operating the school district continues to increase, while the funding to support our schools has remained the same. Support our kids and VOTE YES on #PropLearn.
FHSD teachers have more experience and more education than certified employees in other benchmark districts. Teacher quality has consistently been identified as the most important school-based factor in student achievement. Vote Yes on #PropLearn!
For most FHSD residents, there will be 3 items on the April 3 ballot. Two are related to FHSD, Prop Learn and the Board of Education election. The name “Proposition Learn” will not appear on the ballot, the operating levy will be listed as “PROPOSITION.” Vote YES on #PropLearn!
