@laurarichards99 Just can’t get my head around why Bethany was not offered support. It doesn’t make sense 🤯 In my area all DA victims are asked if they would like specialist support regardless of the outcome of the DASH. We also offer therapeutic work to victims of historical abuse.

@2manywomenhurt @dashchecklist @laurarichards99 They are also ‘not allowed’ to make their own risk assessment. They must add up the answers, mark it as standard/ medium/ high/ v high and submit it to a supervisor who might have only 2 or 3 more years experience than them. The supervisor can override the PC’s assessment.

An experienced officer told me he asks the questions *exactly* as they are written bcs if something goes wrong he will be asked why he didn’t and investigated
