i.e. 250 lb/A of Nitrogen won’t fix 70 ppm K
Seeding depth matters! Both reps were planted the same day early May. The one on the right was planted at optimal seed depth and the other was covered with dirt. Population is great for both, but look how long it took for the shallow plants to take off.
And thats a wrap! Soybean plots are done and we're on to corn! Starting to get paranoid because the weather has been so nice. Guess I'm still on edge from last fall #2019Nightmare
Here is an amazing tool that I think every Agronomist should carry in their pickup. This Bulk EC tester sure is handy for predicting and diagnosing hotspots for IDC. At 1.5 you're gonna have trouble. At 2.0 you better call your insurance agent!
